I understand why Gourmand Dad frequents Opus Bistro so often. Below are some of his favorite dishes--I also threw in some of the Gourmand Clan's favorites as well!
Jumbo asparagus encrusted with Parmesan and jumbo lump crab meat and tomatoes. This appetizer makes an appearance every visit!
French Onion Soup
The soup is simple and delicious.

Blue crab, avocado, mango, tomato and basil. If you are looking for something on the lighter side but still filling then you will enjoy the Crab Salad.

Veal New Orleans
Lightly breaded veal sautéed in a Béarnaise sauce and paired with a lobster tail. I actually saw a few patrons using their fingers to get the last tastes of the sauce.

Red Snapper Charlie Brown
Gulf red snapper lightly breaded and topped with mushrooms, artichokes and crab meat all served up with brown butter sauce. This is probably one of his favorite dishes and it is also mine. We both decided to try something different so we refrained from the usual however next time the will be Charlie Brown!
Poached apple stuffed with brown sugar, butter and raisins all wrapped up in a puff pastry all topped off with a vanilla custard sauce. I was told this is a German classic and I must say that it is pretty darn good!
